Electro-Acuscope therapy System

The Acuscope is designed to work with the body’s natural bioelectrical processes, providing gentle microcurrent stimulation to areas requiring support. By interacting with the nervous system and surrounding tissues, treatments may help support circulation, relaxation, tissue recovery, and the body’s natural healing response.

What makes the Acuscope unique is its advanced biofeedback technology. Unlike conventional electrical stimulation devices that deliver a predetermined output, the Acuscope continuously monitors the tissue response between the treatment probes.

The system measures changes in electrical impedance within the tissue and provides both numerical and auditory feedback. This information allows the instrument to identify areas of altered electrical activity and adjust its therapeutic output accordingly.

This responsive technology allows each treatment to be individualized to the animal rather than relying on a fixed level of stimulation. The goal is to support healthier electrical communication within the nervous system and create an environment that encourages the body’s natural recovery and repair processes.

Microcurrent

Microcurrent therapy is a gentle, non-invasive approach that uses precisely controlled electrical currents to support the body’s natural recovery and repair processes.

The currents used during treatment are extremely low in intensity and closely aligned with the body’s own natural electrical activity. This allows microcurrent therapy to work in harmony with the body rather than overwhelming it with stronger electrical stimulation. At the cellular level, the body relies on electrical activity to support normal function, communication, and repair. Microcurrent therapy is designed to complement these natural processes, making it a gentle and versatile option for supporting recovery from injury, managing discomfort, and maintaining overall physical wellness. Whether used as part of a recovery program or for ongoing maintenance, microcurrent therapy offers a gentle approach designed to help the body function and recover at its best.

Biofeedback Loop

One of the key features of our Acuscope therapy system is its animal-calibrated biofeedback technology, specifically designed for use with animals.

Unlike a fixed-output approach, the system uses computerized biofeedback to continuously monitor the tissue’s response during a session. This allows the instrument to make precise adjustments to the microcurrent being delivered based on the individual animal’s changing needs, the risk of overstimulation can not occur.

Proper animal calibration is an important part of effective treatment. Animals have physiological and cellular differences from humans, and these differences can also vary between species, breeds, and individual animals. Using equipment that has been appropriately calibrated for animal tissue allows treatments to be tailored more precisely to the animal receiving them.

This individualized approach allows each session to be responsive rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all level of stimulation, providing a gentle and highly personalized therapy experience for your horse.

Acuscope Comparison

Acuscope therapy systems differ from many traditional electrical stimulation devices in the level and type of current they deliver. Rather than using milliamp-level stimulation, these systems operate in the microamp range. Traditional modalities such as TENS are generally designed to stimulate sensory nerves and help manage the perception of discomfort. Microcurrent therapy takes a different approach, using very low-level electrical stimulation intended to work more gently with the body’s natural bioelectrical processes. Because the current is delivered at such a low intensity, microcurrent therapy does not rely on strong muscle contractions or high levels of stimulation. Instead, it is designed to support normal cellular and neuromuscular function while encouraging the body’s natural recovery processes. For equine applications, this gentle approach can make microcurrent therapy a valuable addition to a comprehensive wellness, rehabilitation, and recovery program, whether supporting an active performance horse, a horse recovering from injury, or an older horse requiring ongoing maintenance.

Acuscope Packages

Initial Series

01

Our initial series includes 3 sessions within 3 days to kick off our Acuscope treatments.

This is to ensure we properly open up the nervous system entirely and give the body a reset on the neuropathways so all treatments preformed after will have a better chance at staying open.

First day: Spinal Opening

Second day: Front End Opening

Third day: Hind End Opening

Rehabilitation

03

individualized approach desgined to support horses recovering from injury, physical dysfunction, or periods of reduced activity. Rehabilitation focuses on improving mobility, supporting tissue recovery, addressing compensatory movement patterns, and gradually restoring functional strength and comfort. Each program is tailored to the horse's condition, stage of recovery, and individual needs.

Treatments - 30 day increments based off vets prognosis

Performance Optimization

02

A specialized treatment plan designed to prepare the equine athlete for peak physical output, improving functional mobility, reducing muscular tension, supoporting recovery,  and to accelerate their recovery immediately following competition.

General

 Maintenance

04

Ongoing care program designed for horses with chronic conditions, previous injuries, or recurring physical concerns. The goal is to support long-term comfort, maintain mobility, manage compensatory movement patterns and help slow the progression of dysfunction where possible. This program is tailored to the horse's specific needs to support quality of life, physical function and long-term soundness. Ideal for horses with chronic conditions, a history of injury, ongoing muscular tension, degenerative changes, or recurring mobility concerns.

6-12 treatments ideally

Preventative

Maintenance

05

A proactive approach to maintaining you horse's physical health, mobility, and overall well-being before issues arise. Preventative care focuses on indentifying areas of tension, restriction, or muscular imbalance early, and supporting healthy movement patterns, and helping reduce the risk of preventative injuries. The goal is to promote long-term soundness, support recovery between activities, and maintain optimal physical function.
